We came here on New Years Eve and luckily it was opened. The place reminded me of a warehouse. The seating areas were far apart, very high ceilings and tbh it didnt really look inviting.
We got seated and we ordered a couple of dishes. Ive never tried Korean Beef Tartare so we ordered that. The beef tartare came with a raw yolk on top and some cucumber on the side and also a lemon for that extra tanginess. I wasnt quite sure if I liked the tartare. I think I prefer Japanese tartare with the crisp.
For the Korean bbq we ordered wagyu short ribs, wagyu oyster blade, wagyu marinated scotch fillet and wagyu beef belly. My favourite was the wagyu oyster blade. It melted in my mouth! I wasnt a fan of the wagyu marinated scotch fillet and the wagyu beef belly was extremely fattening – which is expected because it is beef belly. Most of them were very average. Even tho I wasnt a fan it was still good to eat. The waitress cooked our meats for us but we felt like they didnt check up on us regularly so we just cooked it ourselves before it over cooked.
I felt like it ended up being a very expensive meal. I wouldnt say the beef was top notch wagyu quality and you could get better with the same price.
Overall, a bit of a hit and miss. I dont think I would return. There wasnt any stand out dishes that would make me want to come back.
