2.5 I’m a bit confused with the name of this bubble tea store. Is it “Meetea” or “Nice To Meet You”?Well, Meetea is hidden within the lane of A’Beckett Street. It sell bubble teas and Asian pancakes made from eggs. There are egg waffles and other desserts as well.Prices are pretty good. I ordered a taro milk with purple rice. The purple rice was glutinous rice, which I was a little disappointed, as I expecting something different. The taro milk tasted just like milk, no taro flavour. The drink wasn’t bad, just wasn’t good. Maybe I should try something else.
I’ve been here quite often recently just because of the egg waffle! I always order durian egg waffle and it’s always so aromatic, crunchy outside and chewy inside just how i like it. There were several occasions when I came and was advised the egg waffle was sold out, so I had to get it from other places and was so disappointed by how dry and eggy tasting the waffle from other store are! Will stick to this place from now on! 🙂
Huge drinks here. I got a fruity drink (forgot what it’s called now) but it was pretty nice and refreshing. Would definitely come again to try other flavours. Love bubble tea joints!
Great egg waffles, we got the chocolate ice cream with Oreo and it was so fresh and decadent. Also tried the cookies and cream flavour and it was our favourite. Definetly worth trying it!
A bubbletea and hawker style food joint. Ordered the 3 guys milk tea. The place is tucked away and quiet. The cup is quite thin and not as sturdy like other bubble tea places. Drink was average that the jelly overpowered the drink itself. Pearls were hard. Not sure how to describe but drink was sweet but lacked flavour. Nice interior but service was okay.
