Very nice Korean BBQ restaurant. We ordered a family set for BBQ and bimbimbab, fried chicken as extras. Service was absolutely delightful. They guy helped us with our bbq made us feel very special! Meat was all cooked beautifully and so tender! Love the second course which I don’t remember what it was but soooooo good! Will be back!

Having been to the original restaurant, Oriental Spoon 2 brings a different lunch menu as it caters for it’s busy city where it dwells within. Greeted by friendly staff, the ambiance is a spacious, casual modern setting with k-pop lightly pumping in it’s background. Their meals arrive quickly, sizzling hot and are cooked perfectly; although each dish is rich in flavours, I’d recommend using their sauce to boost it’s taste to your liking.

theres not much in terms of gluten free in that they really cant promise that anything is gluten free so i had to guess which would be least likely to cause me tummy problems…

ordered a duck bulgogi on a sizzling plate that was quite oily but there were many portions of duck and the sauce was nice and thick (but probably not gluten free). i liked it but it was a bit too oily after a few mouthfuls and found that i needed something else to cleanse my palate.

ddeokbokki came with cheese and fish cakes quite ordinary, and overpriced for the ingredients. still not a bad dish, but nothing wow either.

side dishes werent too bad. kimchi was also quite average.

soju cocktail drinks were probably my favourite. i chose the grapefruit one while my friend had the raspberry one. personally i preferred the grapefruit one as it was more refreshing~

service could be friendlier but i guess its because they do get incredibly busy at dinner time. we managed to avoid the lines by going there around 5:30ish. you kinda get the impression that they want to rush you outta there asap :/ ambience is nice but i was on the lower level where there was no kbbq/dont know what the upper level is like.

Oriental spoon story 2. Served the same Korean cuisines like the first Oriental spoon store. It is a good place to catch up the friends there. Korean BBQ chicken, sweet fried chicken and beef is a must order combination

Pretty nice place to have lunch or dinner, cold noodle soup is the second best around Melbourne. Stone pot is also above standard, its one of the best place to grab a quick meal.

I came back to this korean joint where I used to go with my friends after school. It is a very fun and cozy place to chill with your friends and family, with the wide range of foods available: from Korean sushi and takoyaki, to noodle dishes to korean barbecue.

I ordered the vegetable kimbap which is as good as the beef bulgogi kimbap. The wasabi sauce wasnt too strong and it grew on me more than the regular mayo they had there which I recommend. It wasnt the best kimbap but it was well done.

We also had the pork sizzling bulgogi and the chicken cheese bulgogi which I thoroughly enjoyed with my friends. It is addicting and good with rice dishes, salad or even the side dishes they have there.

The seafood pancake was what we anticipated the most which was excellent. The octopus inside was very juicy and a fair amount was given. The pancake worked well with the soy sesame sauce given. I would have wished for it to be a bit crispier but it was very big and tasty.

I recommend coming here because the side dishes are a good starter.

This meal filled us up among 4 of us for $44, which is a worthy dinner experience shared with family. I recommend going with a group of at least 4 since these are a bit costly. Will come back to try my beloved bbq!

Had Set D Banquet for 2-3 ppl. Great value and generous amount of food. Soft tender meat. Cooked on charcoal not gas. My fave : Cheesy corn. Attentive and friendly staff.
