Everything about our dining experience exceeded our expectations. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by friendly staff. Then we ordered Wagyu Set B, but Victor the manager suggested the Family Set F (which also had Wagyu Beef in it) because he thought the marinated pork neck would be more palatable to our six-year old. And he was absolutely right! The pork neck was so juicy and tender and our daughter absolutely loved it.
Victor also did the grilling of the meat for us, and he cooked everything to perfection. Then, we asked a waiter for soju recommendation to go with our BBQ. He told us the plain soju would work best with the meat and again, he was absolutely right. The soju had a smooth after taste and we loved it.
Overall it was a very pleasant dining experience, and we wouldnt hesitate to go back again.
I am not a big Asian food lover, but in Oriental Spoon I was in my comfort zone and enjoyed my Asian dish. Interesting menu, wide variety of choices and decent portions (for boys) and reasonable prices. If you decide to go, don’t forget their existing bentos.
