We came into Paiks BBQ , a newly opened Korean restaurant and was blown away by the service and food.
Lets start of with the amount of unlimited sides the give you , from my experience this was probably the most generous amount provided by any Korean eatery.
We ordered 2 meats and 3 dishes, all were above average near perfection. The Wagyu meat was cooked medium rare by the staff and melted in the mouth, the pork belly was juicy and marinated in a delicious sauce- both quality meats
For mains we tried the kim chi stew which was recommended, the jap chae and the cheese egg . The stew was flavoursome and we mixed this with rice and seaweed. I have never had this before so I was glad I got to try . The jap chae was good well, a lot of ingredients and had good flavour. The cheese egg was one of the most delicious eggs I have had in a Korean restaurant, it was so cheesey and comforting to eat, we demolished this dish!
Overall , this new Korean bbq restaurant stands up to some of the best in the CBD, I will definitely be back
