Came here because of groupon. The place was hidden and a bit hard to find. Once found, it looks really cool (i went at night). It has really nice atmosphere, all the cool dim lights. The menu looks quite extensive for such a small place, and they also have many different sauces. I ordered the cheese and soy fried chicken. Presentation was really great, the cheese chicken had strong smell from the powder, yet it doesn’t have much flavour. Love the sou chicken, sauce was yum. Chips are nicely done and seasoned. Staff are nice. Chickens are moist insides.

I was in CBD and wanted to have Korean Fried chicken tonight. I searched online and the nearest place was Pelicana Chicken and I decided to give it a go, and in the end, I was really happy that I decided to come here because it was the crispiest and spiciest chicken I’ve ever had. It is located at the end of an alley on Franklin street. The menu on the wall can be a bit confusing as I had to spend some time and ask the host how it all works. So you can order 2 sizes, Full or Half chicken, either original or covered in one of the sauces displayed on the menu. In Half chicken there are almost 8-9 pieces and the full is 18 pieces. I decided to order Half chicken with bone-in Hot Smoky Chilli Sauce.
Love the chicken. Freshly fried and made. I always keep on coming back to get them cause its cheap and delicious. However, recently they’ve always had their spicy sauces sold out. Bummed out by this but when they have it, they have the best spicy sauces in CBD that has a kick to it. Also itd be great if they could fix up their air conditioning. It would be unbearable on hotter days.
