3.5. Last time when I went to this place and had a decaf mocha, it tasted so good that I went back today to get another one. However, I think it’s a hit and miss as today my mocha was a bit too sour with the coffee overpowering the chocolate taste. Unfortunately I don’t want to finish it and threw half of it away. I am a bit fussy about the balance of both tastes in my mocha and to make it fair, my review score is a balance of my two experiences of the mocha in separate occasions.
Lovely cafe with undercover courtyard seating.Service was friendly and professional. My strong latte had a good strength and texture.Reuben Sandwich ($19) – a little bit pricey but it’s well done. Buttered and toasted on the outside, layers of pastrami and the red sauerkraut has a bit of zing and crunch. At the end, a little bit rich though.
It’s a pretty expensive cafe, but given the quality of what they do it’s understandable. Their chicken roll is as good as it gets. Anywhere. Service is nice & efficient. Would definitely return.
