We went there for lunch. Ordered Lamb Cutlets (4 Pieces) and they server Lamb Chops (3 pieces). On telling them that we got lamb chops and not cutlets the waitress told me that I didn’t know what cutlets are and in Australia lambchops are called lamb cutlets. When I asked for the missing piece they said that it wasn’t ready and will be late, further asking if I wanted it. I had to argue to say that I am paying for the food hence I wanted the right portions. I absolutely disliked the inordinate waitress. Food was alright. Quantity is good.

Very rude manager/ owner. Had to leave even before reading the menu. He shouted at the staff over table allocation, though the entire restaurant was empty with no reservations marking. Had high hopes but bad experience.

We went in to try some of the starters only over a drink and was very excited to see Indian Old Monk rum in the menu proudly exhibited unlike other Indian restaurants and specially the Lamb chops preparation using Old Monk. However the lamb was not well cooked and was chewy although the taste was really good. The Jodhpuri chilli chicken was ok while the Kesariya Malai chicken kebab was the tastiest of the three dishes we ordered.

Was here today evening for chaats. Ordered Aloo chana chaat and Dahi bhalle. The restaurant looks pretty cool from the outside and is just next to our building, therefore, we wanted to check this place first before heading to another joint that served chaats. The presentation of both the dishes was really nice, however, the taste was quite average. Dahi bhalle lacked floating Dahi (which is typically required) and looked a little dry.The aloo patty in the Aloo-chana chaat didn’t seem fresh (but not stale). The freshly pan fried aloo tikkis are slightly different in taste. Not complaining about the freshness, but given the ambiance and granduer of the restaurant we had expected great food.I specifically wanted to taste the Old Monk lamb because of the review here, but after the chaat, I wanted to rest that thought for a bit.Overall experience:Food – 3 (based solely on chaats)Quantity – 5Staff – 3.5Ambiance – 4
