Been here for several times , not that business. It’s next a bus station. Try the rice, rice noodle, pork feet, lamb, fried chicken, roti(onion pancake), personally, really recommends for pork feet, very soft and tasty. For other dish such as chicken with rice you can ask for extra sources come with the pancake.

Melbourne Meet Shanghai had a very short tenure, making way for this new Chinese restaurant with its main focus on braised pots. Problem with this spot is it doesn’t get much exposure and it was rather quiet when we visited. They ran a special promotion for our group of 3, we got a free drink (singular) and entree. For entree we got their deep fried oysters. Quite fragile to pick up but it somehow held together. Slightly crisp and gooey inside, it certainly had that distinct brininess to it. This was paired with some mayo. For my braised pot (mild) I got their signature pork knuckles with a side of rice and pickles. It was super soft and gelatinous I could almost inhale it. Very nice. You can pair your dish with noodles if you prefer.I also tried some of my friend’s salad which consisted of various vegetables of cucumber, dried tofu, black fungus and peanuts mixed with a spicy and numbing flavour profile. Quite refreshing.Portioning is generous, so much so my friends got some of their meals takeaway. Nice little Chinese restaurant that serves what it does best and keeps the menu slim to uphold their quality.
Will come back for:+ Fried prawns+ Special tomato beef rice noodle+ Sichuan beef rice noodlePopped by this new noodle house for a quick bite of lunch. The decor was bright and cheery, much like the food it serves. The fried prawns with the aioli was super crunchy and great. What I like about the noodle dishes here are the clay pots in which the noodles are served in keeps the soup and noodle super hot (temperature wise). The spices of the noodles were great. The tomato base had a sourness that is quite appetising and the spicy Sichuan soup had a hit of peppercorn that gives the taste buds a bit of a tingle (although they have wisely removed the peppercorns). Service was friendly but took a bit of time to come out this time round (understandable as they get their service in order). The pancakes were a little bit too oily also. Prices are reasonable for that you get, so I will definitely come back to try out some of the other dishes.
