This store happened to be right next to the place I had lunch at. I didn’t even know it existed so I had no expectations about it. I decided to go with the pearl milk tea, the other options that appealed to me were the watermelon and lychee teas but I thought I’d give their milk tea a chance.
Bought a sausage roll here and was disappointed with how hard the bread was. The bubble tea wasn’t great either. The pearls tasted like one of those you can buy from an Asian grocery and boil yourself. We had the peach oolong, but did not tast any peach at all.
We passed by this bread store along Elizabeth Street & was attracted by it’s beautiful display of bread & cakes.. so we decided to give it a go.. when we first walked in we noticed that there were some table seatings in the store which was a bit different for bakery/cake shops & they had a great selection of pastries.. I always love pastries with meat floss & couldn’t resist the meat floss bun that they had.. the bread was not soft & was a bit too dense.. we also tried the pineapple bun, however the texture was the same, and wasn’t as soft as I would have liked.. compared to other bakeries in Melbourne that sold similar buns definitely not one of my favourites.. however there could be a market out there for buns that are a bit more dense..
