Food here was fantastic. The beef was lovely and tender, and everything else that was cooked was so delicate and delicious. Would I come back? Definitely, but only if someone else is paying!
Really good quality and fresh teppanyaki with real Japanese Chefs. It is apparently one by Australians so the service is very western oriented. I think it is one of the best teppanyaki places in Melbourne.
First time ever going to teppanyaki and surely was an experience. The meats were so juicy and flavoursome and the sauces blended in well. The oysters came with a little lemon squeezer which made it easier to squeeze all the juices. Being able to see everything in front of you is an experience. Everything was pretty pricey but would recommend.
I know what you are thinking. Why are the photos so unappealing? With an amalgamation of poor lighting and strange angles, this is the result- but let me assure you now that looks are very well deceiving. Sensational. This is the word to describe the Wagyu Beef but we will get back to that. Upon arriving at the restaurant you will notice perfect ambience. The ambience is something straight out of the heart of Kyoto reflecting sheer Japanese beauty and style. The aromas from each steel plate kiss your nose with an abundance of freshly grilled fragrance, salivating your tongue and stomach lining. The staff are immediately welcoming and attentive, offering drinks and utmost perfect service to ensure your wait is worthwhile while the table of bliss awaits your seating.
I guess service has to be a perfect score because well, the cook is literally right in front of you! Nonetheless the chefs are very professional, friendly and make crazy food. Now the food… All we can say is stick with the Wagyu Dinner special. The chicken was for Emily who unfortunately does not love the beefs as much as I and it was good, but not spectacular. Everything else offered such as the prawns, scallops, mushrooms, garlic flakes and most especially Wagyu beef were mesmerising. The beef literally melts in your mouth and it’s juicy goodness seeps into your body like a fountain of love.
The best possible Wagyu beef you can get in Melbourne. Not quite Kobe Beef in Japan but definitely up there in Melbournes standards. Highly recommend this restaurant for a special tasting of Wagyu beef if money isn’t an issue as it is quite pricey. But then again, you pay for perfect Wagyu, service and ambience.

Really great ambiance and amazing food. Although being quite pricey, I found it to be worth the price for the luxury and class this restaurant serves. Definitely worth coming for a special occasion!
An very enjoyable place to have lunch. The services are very friendly and foods are delicious. You can see the process of food being made. The chef will adjust the speed according to you. The special lunch set is very healthy and plentiful.Recommend it if you like Japanese food!
