Nestled within RMIT is this burger spot (from Nuts About Tella) dealing with burgers (duh), fried chicken, thick shakes and donut burgers. As I didn’t want to fall into a food coma during work hours (I did anyway) I chose not to get any sweets.I got their Saint Pablo (double cheese burger) which came out wrapped in foil. Everything just meshed so well together, the cheese was perfectly gooey paired with a creamy Yeezy sauce. The patties could have been more pink but had a nice char on the outside, this however did not detract from how juicy it was. Best burgers within the CBD, I seriously could not put it down.I also got some fried chicken (2 piece) which were lean tenderloin pieces seasoned southern style (also with a side of Yeezy sauce). Although not my favourite chicken piece (I’d personally prefer dark meat on the bone) it wasn’t dry and I found it not overly oily or fatty. This came with some chips which had a lovely paprika seasoning.I think they should expand on their fried chicken, wings and drumsticks would be way tastier. Price point is also very good catering for uni students so I’m surprised there wasn’t more people lining up. Frothing for a revisit to try out the other things I missed out.

If you’re in the city looking for a downright delicious burger, look no further. The people who brought you those epic Nutella stacked doughnuts from Nuts About Tella are now making burgers. They’re located in RMIT building 12 and you don’t have to be a student to head on over. The College Dropout – the college dropout burger

Newly opened within RMIT University in the CBD, The College Dropout is the latest Kayne-inspired initiative from the brainchild behind Nuts About Tella.Despite it’s affordable pricing, you can expect the same quality and attention to detail found at various Nuts About Tella venues. This of course, translates to one of the best burgers in Melbourne, and definitely our favourite in the CBD.
