Just had lunch there with a girlfriend. Head of house seems really pleasant however the same cannot be said for the staff. We asked for water numerous times (never received it by the way) and was rudely directed to a bathroom in the next door bathroom when asked about the facilities.
Food is okay, at a higher price point than your standard vietnamese place but that’s ok considering the operating hours. Our rice paper rolls came out at the end of the meal upon which we were asked if they could put them in a container (i think they wanted to free up the table).
Not sure if I will return.
My party of 3 definitely took advantage of their 24hr opening time after a concert as we ended up here at about 12:30am.
This is one of the nicer late night eateries in Melbourne with such friendly and accommodating staff; plus great food.
I ordered the Vegan Pho and loved it. It was packed with tofu and vegetables, and is a really good price for such a large size (the regular for $13.50). But I must say that there was quite a bit of oil floating on top and in the broth and it took a while for it to be served.
My other friends loved theirs but also felt that the wait time was a little long considering there weren’t too many people there.
If you’re in the area in the early morning (or at any time really) then this place is worth eating at. I’d love to try the other dishes so I’ll probably be back.
Yes/no? No 🙁
Look, everyone tells me how good pho and Vietnamese food is but every time it disappoints. I feel like the flavours arent amazing. Its a nice dish but I feel like laksa which is Malaysian is a trillion times better. I like something that packs a punch and I feel like Vietnamese food lacks exactly that.
Sorry not for me
Very catchy name, twenty Pho seven, love it.
This cozy casual place comes handy when you are hungry late night.
I did order vermicelli dish Hanoi style, and because I cant decided and a little hungry so I choose 3 topping like:
1.crispy pork belly, which I like but this dish lack of crispness on the skin/crackling so its slightly less enjoyable,
2.bo la lot, its a nice fragrant thinly slice beef wrapped in betel leaves and grilled or barbecue before served to you.
3.vegetarian spring roll, which was average taste to me.
Well, when you are in Melbourne this place worth a visit.
Had an awesome time at Twenty Pho Seven, the service was good, food came out fairly quick, but wow was the flavour of the pork on point, very flavoursome dishes served at Twenty Pho Seven, definitely one on the list to tick off!
Got some rice paper rolls from this place. Nice filings such as prawn and pork, soft shell crab etc. The Vietnamese cold coffee bible tea was nice too. Very bitter and strong coffee flavor.
Great vegan options, 24/7. I really cant complain. Great service too. I am here almost weekly. The portions are generous too! Definitely try the spring rolls, pho and vermicelli salad.
