  Great korrean barbecue joint! The kimchi pancakes were one of the best I have ever had and on top of all it was BYO.

  The look and feel of the place also gives it a different edge to the usual korrean barbecue places around the city.

  Have heard good thing about this place. I always walk pass this place and somehow I never knew it served Korean cuisine haha… lunch specials are $12.50 comes with soup and rice.

  I got the spicy chicken and silly me it was really spicy haha… huge generous servings. Alot more chicken then rice but really it was too much for me anyway hehe… very tasty. Lots of chicken. Need a bit more veggies.

  Service was quick and efficient. Clean and love the industrial feel. Would come back for dinner.

  I have heard good and bad reviews from this place so I had to check it out to see for myself. The food was relatively cheap hence why the quality of the meats werent that great. I really did enjoy the kimchi cheese pancake because its different from all the other restaurants and its also crispy. Service was attentive and friendly.

  From the two dishes we ordered, I think its pretty good authentic Korean food. Nothing out of the ordinary. Im taking off one star for the lack of service we received as customers who werent eating BBQ (unattentive staff). Though we would have liked to have BBQ, it was full by the time we got there so we opted for a normal table and ate the non-BBQ food. The air vents must be losing their strength because the smell really spread around and stuck to our clothes like no tomorrow. Id go elsewhere if I wasnt going to eat BBQ here.

  Got the beef bibimbab. It is pretty nice with the sauce and when the meat and veges are all mixed in. Good place for lunch but service might be a bit slow.

  (Highlights) Stone bi-bim-bap (as part of the bbq set)
  Kimchi soup (v) small pot: kimchi, pork tofu with spicy soup ($15.90)
  Corn cheese

  Review:
  This is my second time coming back, and I really have to let you know about this corn cheese dish.
  White tomato adds a smattering of tomato, onion, capsicum, and herbs which somehow gives the this plain corn cheese dish a fragrance of pizza?!
  It blew my mind and would definitely recommend White Tomato for uni students who (not just those who want Corn cheese) want decent amount of quality food at an affordable price.

  We had visited White Tomato for dinner and it was a pleasant experience.

  Stone bibimbap – this bowl had a good mix of flavors which complemented each other. Some bibimbap are over the top where there are more veggies than there should be!

  Grilled pork belly – as the name suggests, this dish is pretty much grilled pork belly served on top of lettuce with salad! Not the prettiest but it was quite delicious – pork belly was grilled pretty well and the salad was not too bad with its dressing!

  Deep fried chicken (half) – we had ordered the soy flavor and it was pretty good! The fried chicken was crispy and juicy and the sauce was sweet and a little nutty and garlicky which made it stand out to other Korean fried chicken places!

  Overall, White Tomato is a good place to catch up with friends and have a good time which we did!
