Small shop up on exhibition street right next to the theater. The fried rice was pretty average and the garlic cucumber is very disappointing for us. It was drenched in their sauce but lacking the vinegar and garlic flavour. The truffle dumplings are unique and surprisingly very good.

We ordered a few plates of the pan fried dumplings – vegetarian, pork and chicken. The broth inside the dumplings was steaming hot, but so delicious! Don’t burn your mouth!
This was a great find in a city that’s rammed with dumpling options. It’s on Exhibition Street on that quiet stretch and is never overly busy. Anyways, we headed in and it was well worth it! We had the xiao long bao which were very good. But it’s the pan fried dumplings (which like the xiao long bao, have soup between the filling and the skin – which is pan fried). I can’t remember the name for these but we’ve had them at a few places and they’re my fav! Spring onion pancakes and prawn har gao were also top notch. Will definitely be back!
