We ordered takeaway as our first experience here. The pan fried pork dumplings had excellent flavor but were quite greasy. I had the nasi lemak with beef rendang. It was all right but I wish the beef was more tender. My husband was very happy with his sweet and sour pork and rice. We will definitely try this place again.
The venue itself was nice, spacious and cosy; located in a busy location. The food was a let down for me. The dishes were over seasoned and drowning in salt. The Mongolian beef in particular was so overly seasoned that you cannot enjoy the whole meal and the iconic Mongolian flavour. The only good dish for me was the prawn crackers which says a lot about the food. Cost wise, the meals are all over priced compared to the portion and quality of the food. 2/5
Very relaxed atmosphere. Great quality food. Has become my fav Malaysian eatery. Will come again and again and with friends. Well done guys and gals
Good fresh food. Quantity and quality with a friendly staff and nice Asian atmosphere.
Has one of the best iced coffees I’ve ever had and was relatively cheap for how much I received.
4/5 would eat again.
great food and good staff. very convenient for shopping just in the mall. a good stop for some asian cuisine and offer free prawn crackers take away or dine in. hokkien noodles is love.
Ordered Nasi lemak, Penang chicken curry laksa and egg noodle with bbq pork. Only Nasi lemak was decent. Laksa and bbq pork were terrible. Pork was not fresh. Laksa broth had a stale out of the can taste to it. For decent Malaysian fare Chef Legenda at deer park is your best bet so far. We wont be back to red lantern
Decided to try somewhere different for dinner. Went for the Rendang beef with steamed rice. Food was amazing and fresh. Would definitely go back.
