Ordered the fillet burger chips and can deal at a meager $10. I found the fried chicken to be of a good standard and the special sauce complimented it…

I love Ollie’s chicken, I prefer it over KFC 100%. The chicken pieces are way bigger, get an even variety of legs, thighs etc. The chicken doesn’t leave me feeling sick afterwards from all the grease, unlike KFC, which I find way too greasy. Their chips are the best!! The chicken is even better the next day cold.
I have been to Ollie’s in Melton a few times so I was happy when I saw a shop open in hillside not far from my house chicken is awesome like KFC used to be before it sucked and so are the chicken fillet burgers and chips well done guys
A fusion of KFC and Red Roster, down to the coleslaw, potato salad in plastic tubs, and Pepsi in cans.So if you cant decide which of the two multi nationals to go to and want a lesser copy of both as well as supporting a local business this is the place to go. The chips were lovely and crisp. The BBQ chicken had a nice strong BBQflavour . the fried chicken was also light and crispy. However my breast fillet was overcooked almost dry and definitely stringy as a result. All our eat in meals were served in boxes and handed to us in a plastic bag #15
The chicken had a nice flavour to it and was quite tender. The chips were cooked nicely and the gravy was topped them off. We also had the coleslaw and bean salad which were tangy and flavoursome.
Ollies has the old name but without the old quality. I still enjoy the special sauce when ordering my usual of hot roll and chips. Never disappointed as there’s not a lot of expectations
Stale chips. Terrible quality chicken. Long wait. Rude staff. Would not recommend to anyone. First tried it was nice, second and third time have been terrible. Would not go back again.
Decent chicken – good flavours, pity it was dry and not that warm. Chips were very average, seem quite stale. Not sure how the ratings have been so consistently high…
