This was definitely not authentic Thai food. It was more like Chinese food and I could not take more than 2 bites from my Pad Thai – it was extremely sweet like it was loaded with sugar. Even drenching it with hot sauce didn’t help 🙁 The tofu in the Pad Thai tasted rubbery as well. My husband had the crispy pork belly and that dish was quite sweet too, but not as much as the Pad Thai so I had a bit of that.
I was really hoping that Melton would have some good Thai food, but was instead disappointed.
I will have to get my Thai food fix in Caroline Springs/Laverton while in the western suburbs ….
On a positive note, they did have good customer service and atmosphere, which is why I gave a score of 2 points.
