I’m very accustomed to authentic Chinese restaurants as I go to those all the time. As soon as I stepped into this restaurant I knew it was not authentic-authentic, not that it’s a bad thing. The decor tries to make it seem as Asian as possible (but something seemed off, like it was trying too hard and too deliberate) and the menu with English pronunciations of chinese food, which I found strange. Just have Chinese words instead, why pronunciation? Not like non-Chinese speakers would understand it anyway, and makes it hard for Chinese to decipher the dish name. I was sceptical that the taste wouldn’t be good, but for the most part it was pretty good. Cantonese beef was delicious, chili prawns was also very tasty. The let down was the lemon chicken- it was essentially roasted chicken that’s overcooked gone soggy with lemon sauce. I will order the Cantonese beef again but never lemon chicken from here.

Really good quality and tasty home-style Asian food. The fried rice was full of flavour and the chop suey had a good amount of vegetable. Take away service was spot on.

Father’s Day was quite busy took over an hour to get our main meal and about 20 minutes to get our dim sim entree. the satay beef was almost tasteless as I’ve had good satay beef there before and it was about 60 percent onion. the fried rice was a bit dry and I normally have great fried rice , so this may be because they’re so busy at the moment but left a bit disappointed.

We revisited this place after 11 months. This time for a full meal. The service was great. Nice, friendly staff. The place was at capacity but they still managed to get our food to us in about ~12 minutes. The dim sims are outstanding – sweet. This place has been here since 1970, and still owned and run by the original family. My favourite meal was the satay chicken. Nice and spicy.

Mmm nah, wouldn’t return again. Utterly underwhelming food, not 100% sure if real meat was used either :/ dim sims had potential but we’re over cooked. Everything else was over greasy, honey chicken was way over battered and had nearly no actual chicken inside?! Service was awful, sat for a good 30+ before we finally got someone’s attention and had them come over as they were too busy running back and forth to the kitchen for takeaway orders! No offer of water, and when requested none ever arrived :/ food is cheap, which is a plus. But considering the quality of cheap Chinese you can get elsewhere these days don’t bother going here!
