The Bistro is in the row of restaurants near Stefanos and the Grand hotel. the ambiance and furniture are of a high standard . The menu is good and very reasonable for the quality. The young waiting staff were extremely helpful and attentive and they worked very hard in a busy restaurant. I would recommend

Food on menu was simple and fresh. Better than average, well presented and ate everything on the plate. Staff was excellent and so hospitable. Would definitely come back again when visiting this town.

So much on this menu that appeals so we decided to share all our meals. We started with the house arancini and they were superb, not your typical rice type, these were filled with Ricotta and smoled scamorza. We also had the fried baby squid served with aioli and a lemon wedge, also very nice. The baked Ricotta gnocchi were next on the list though the Gnocchi themselves wete very soft and s tad mushy, very similar texture to store bought ones. The standout dishes were the tagliatelle with mushrooms and the sauteed vegetables. The flavour of the cream mushroom sauce was excellent and the pasta was perfectly aldente. The sauteed veggies were a mixture of baked potato, carrots and pumpkin and delicious beans, spinach and leek, seriously a lovely accompaniment to the other dishes. For dessert you can’t go past the rosewater panna cotta, just devine, a great wobble and a nice rosewater flavour. Good service and highly recommended.
