I was in Mildura for work purposes and my colleague and i were recommended this place. We left with a feeling of satisfaction and enjoyment. Staff were attentive, food was delicious- I had the pork and my colleague had the lamb backstrap, we also had some wine and the dining experience as a whole was amazing. Would recommend and return in a heart beat!
This place has improved dramatically, it used to be one of my favourites, but went down hill. I have been twice in the last 2 months and both experiences have been exceptional. The quality of the food and service is back to where it was about 5 years ago. Great to see the resurrection of this restaurant, will definitely be going back!
The kangaroo loin is awesome, tender and melt in your mouth, served with broccolini, asparagus and roasted sweet potato. I ordered it medium rare with a red wine jus. The complementary olives also delicious. My colleagues had the lamb and the porterhouse and all agreed the ‘roo’ was the standout.
From moment you walk in, professional staff will greet you and ensure you have a positive dining experience. We had a meat platter which was excellent. Wine list is good as well, we went local with Trentham Estate. Recommended.
