First of all it’s great that the meat here is Halal. However, halal certificates need to be renewed in a continual basis so it has to be checked by those concerned. I’ve tried their grill chicken and souvlakis which have always been delicious. The souvlaki particularly are well seasoned (something that’s not perfected by many shops). I’m a regular for them! The prices are reasonable too which is good. The staff are friendly and cordial.
I am a Vegetarian, and may please tell what is a Vego doing at a Chicken shop?
Well it goes like this, if i know i am not going anywhere or seeing anyone for a couple of days, well hello baked garlic Potato, Baked Vegetables and just to make the meel a little different they have some Fried Rice, mixed together at home with some lemon juice and Balsamic Vinegar, I have the strangest little taste sensation.
best chicken in mill park and south morang well done i travel 4 km to buy my chicken family deal also we had a lamb and chicken souvlaki they were tasty and fresh well done bouys keep it up.
beautiful tasting chicken!!!!!superb quality and nice and quick, always get takeaway for dinner here and always good standard, salads are beautiful
We regularly get a fresh charcoal chicken from this shop and love it. One of the best chickens around this area that we have found. Flavorsome and tasty stuffing. Good value and usually friendly and helpful staff. Tasty chips and coleslaw too!
Terrible experience ….
Firstly above anything else the customer service experience was just disgusting and that’s not from the poor juniors working at the front probably working on a low wage it’s from the owner directly which I think is a bit outrageous seeing as I was the only customer in that shop for a good 15 minutes… he was just completely and utterly rude and not just to me but to the poor workers… and to make matters worse THE CHICKEN WAS DRY … I will not be returning ever again and not because of the food but because of the owner and his attitude.
Standard chicken shop fare. Goodys is at the back of The Stables (the opposite side of Woolworths).
Standard offerings from this shop. Despite reviews on other sites there is no Portuguese chicken, souvlaki or hamburgers. Its either deep fried chicken (incl proccessed Schnitzel) or chicken cooked over the charcoal. The lack of a chicken souvlaki option seems odd.
There are a variety of salads and roast veg available. As well ad scallop potato and macaroni and cheese (a rather odd offering).
Pretty middle of the road. Nothing wrong with the food but also nothing spectacular.
Schnitzel dinner is good value at $8.90. Huge amount of chips with gravy and a deep fried Schnitzel. Just remember to bring your own knife as they provide plastic forks but no sign of plastic knives when we went.
The chicken rolls are fine. Just lacks the addition of lettuce and the rolls seemed over microwaved as they were too limp and a little too chewy.
I’ll be trying the other chicken shop in the centre to compare them.
