I ordered pho soup with crispy chicken.
The chicken leg/thigh was sliced nicely but bloody, with tendons/veins still blue, and inside still raw.
I quickly told the waitress, she apologised and ordered another one. Which is expected.
When the replacement arrived, it looked like the exact same chicken I had just complained of. I told the waitress again, and after a few words, it was clear they werent going to change it, and she insisted that I just eat it, and it was ok.
No I didnt eat it. I paid for the meal and walked out, and will never be back.
A shame since Im a local, and would be nice to have a quality vietnamese restaurant close by.

Went to ‘Pho Sunday Rose’ on 24/01/18 @ Lunch time. Ordered a Special fried rice and a Vegetarian fried rice. Both take-away. When i came home found SO MANY things not right with the food.

    – Vegetarian fried rice had may be 4-5 strips of carrot and loads of frozen peas and a sweet sauce in addition to lots of oil and crunchy rice.

    – The special fried rice had 2 MINI shrimps and 3 skinny strips of roast pork and loads of frozen peas and bean shoots. (Again crunchy rice and sweet sauce and lots of oil).

    – I’m putting my review in, so future patrons can decide if the food is worth their money. (& the wait for the food may i add..) I was there for just under 30 minutes for my 2 packs of take-away. Remember a Wednesday Lunch time for 2 packs of food.

    – I hope they would increase the quality of the food as we need a Local Vietnamese eatery. If they don’t, i don’t see they get return customers. & certainly my first and last visit.

**I read the reviews here and saw a person called ‘Rudi Leibel’ commenting and denying whenever someone puts a comment to express their displeasure. I’m sure this person is related to the business. Remember, people don’t put a review just to criticize. Take is constructively and spend the time and energy you using on this web site to increase the quality of food. The good reviews will follow….

Ordered the nasi goreng, prawn stir fry and half duck in plum sauce (and steamed rice) for the family and everyone HATED it.

The duck was shockingly dry… I’m fairly certain it was at least a day old…

The nasi goreng was below average.

Prawn stir fry had too much chilli – it did not mention chilli in the menu so I was not pleased.

Overall, I’m genuinely so sad that my $61 went to waste. I feel so ripped off.

Great food. But you could be waiting a while! They seem very disorganised. Dont look for gluten free because they dont know what that means.

Have followed the owner and chef for many years, form Preston to Niddrie back to Preston and now here at Sth Morang. Always a great feed no matter what we order and Baba is always ready for a chat! Highly recommended and very reasonably priced!

Food is below average. Pho soup is full of oil layer on top. Paper rolls dipping sauce is disgusting. Other dishes are full of grease. They dont roast the pork. Just full of deep fried.

Always such a lovely experience dining here. The dim sims are crazy good! Partner and i favour the wonton soup. Service is great too! Definitely a regular outing for us
