The rice was undercooked and dry. Beef and vegetables was extremely plain. Prawn crackers were half stale.
Six years ago the food was fantastic, it was the Chinese shop I grew up visiting. Recently moved back, can only say I’m very disappointed.
Always delivers consistent satisfying dishes. Never crowded and loud which I don’t mind, I do however always seem to have better dine in experience then takeaway, maybe it’s just between the ears.
Hubby and I have just had dinner at Phoenix City chinese restaurant in Mill Park.
The service is friendly and the staff remember you and greet you like old friends.
You get to sit where ever you like and the service is prompt and swift, the meals
come hot and in good quantity. Their home made dim sims are excellent appetisers
and if you pace yourself you can eat 3-4 courses. Highly recommended.
The ambience is good you can have a conversation over your meal. 10/10.
Love this place. Cannot fault it. Never had a bad meal. Love the girls. Always get to sit wherever we want. Really enjoy the food and the price is perfect. We cannot cook a dinner ourselves for less. 🙂
Some of the worst chinese food I have ever eaten.Ordered the satay beef and satay prawns, both were plates of sloppy onions with bland taste, prawn dish had 6-7 prawns for $20.Also ordered the chicken noodles, which seem to have been soaking in a bottle of supermarket soy sauce prior to being brought out.Crispychicken was disgusting! Full of bones, dryand absolutely no taste whatsoever, reminded meof a 3 day old safeway chicken. Honey chickenalso left a lot to be desired. To top it off the $7 jug of coke was flat. For $110 Iwas severely disappointed!Won’t be going back!
Had dinner here last week and was by far the worst Chinese I have ever had. The noodles weren’t Cooked properly, the food wasn’t fresh and came out extremely quick. Was extremely expensive considering how bad it was. Will never ever eat here again, my word of advice to you is that you don’t you eat here either
All about the skewers. Great food, the satay skewers are absolutely delish. Their lemon chicken is the best I’ve had in a while. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
