Great little shop if you are in the mood for some Fish and chips. The oil used was not burnt and did not have the usual strong odour. The fish and chips were drained properly to remove any excess oil and packed so that the food did not go soggy upon travelling. I ordered the Seafood pack and apart from the fish cake everything tasted good. They accept card payments over $10 and there is plenty of parking near the area. The only downside was the time it took to get someones attention to get served and the time it took for the food to come out. Still a pretty good place.

The Golden Horseshoe is the local fish n chip haunt if you live in the Childs Road Mill Park vicinity. The Swine has frequented the Golden Horseshoe for a long long time for Friday evening Fish n Chips. The place is clean and oil is fresh. It has the usual fish n chip menu includung classic fish shop hamburgers. Staff are friendly, funny and attentive. Swine approved.
I had my first souvlaki ever from here back in the late 90s.. I can’t believe they are still going strong! Awesome bunch of people and the food is awesome. They even still have old posters that were there in the 90s.. I love this place.. Best take away at the stables!!
