Nice little family own restaurant. I love Japanese food and this one is real Japanese food. Most of Japanese. Restaurant run by Chinese but this one is run by real Japanese couple and the taste is real Japan taste. Place is clean and well organise, food is delicious and will definitely come back for more. Glad I found a genuine Japanese run restaurant.

I love Komo! This is my favourite casual Japanese retaurant by far. The bento boxes are great and you get a free cup of miso or a can of drink with every box. Delicious and fresh food. Definitely recommend Komo.

The food is delicious, the staff are extremely friendly and its got great service.

Would definitely recommend the Tempura Udon although it may be too salty for some it was just right for me.

The sushi is very limited from what I can see at first sight but its ok.

The quick time is definitely accurate. Tried the prawn gyoza and the spicy chirashi. Not a fan of the sauce on the chirashi and it wasn’t amazing value. The gyoza was nice due to the crispness of the skin (no idea where the review of the microwaved gyoza came from). All in all a nice feed but not somewhere to come specially for.

Went at a busy time at night, the food was sub par. Waited a few minutes to be seated and got the Vegie Croquette and Beef Okonomiyaki. Vegie Croquette was great and freshly fried! The Okonomiyaki on the other hand was clearly mircowaved, as it lacked the usual crisp from a fresh one. It was soggy and had no flavour, also lacked pieces of beef.

Friends Raw Salmon Don was disappointing with super thin salmon slices which left a weird aftertaste and was not fresh. Rice used wasnt sushi rice so it lacked the usual stickiness and taste.

Would give it another shot, but was left disappointed.

Friendly service. Good quality food here. Had spicy chicken don. The spiciness is spot on. Chicken is tender, enough rice to fill you up. Surprising good for such a small place.

Seriously, you can’t fault this little establishment. Granted, we were not impressed with the slow service and the okay flavours when it first opened. But boy oh boy, did the flavours changed over time! Love the tempura don and fried gyoza. Really fresh and generous for takeaways, not to mention value for money and healthier than fish and chips! Will be back again for sure!

    Update:

Went back just after they reopened due to renovation, every item increased in price by about $3 or more! I get that they are trying to be more upmarket , even revamp their menu to include items that are offered at fine dining locations. Sorry, youve lost us- Id rather go to other Japanese more homely restaurants.
