Stay away from this place because tonight I ordered a Plain Steak Sandwich and a Potato Cake but the Steak was very tuff and the Potato Cake was overcooked so I couldn’t eat it. I would recommend going to the Ringwood East Fish and Chips at 36 Railway Ave because their Steak Sandwiches and Potato Cakes are so much nicer.

Definitely the best fish and chips in Mitcham! Have tried the others and they just don’t get the chips right! Decent serving for the minimum of chips and they were almost perfectly cooked – mostly crispy on the outside with a soft centre and not burnt. Down fall is that they do not have eftpos facilities – really need to get with the times!
Reliable service and food from a lady who manages the shop with great efficiency. Chips are not too thick and not too thin – they are just right! Great potato cakes and fish. The burgers look good too. Good snack packs, burger packs, fish pack deals. Large range of food options. Always cooked on demand. It can get very busy sometimes so prepare for a wait. Perfect for tradies and people on the road looking for a solid fast food meal.

Potato cakes are crispy and golden, Flake is also cooked to perfection. Other places leave your mouth feeling oily, but not here!
The usual fish and chip offerings at competitive prices. Had no issues with the food here, besides some soggy chips. Customer service was also decent.
