In my experience it’s authentic and inexpensive with friendly staff in an enjoyable atmosphere. For a tiny little place they are definitely batting above average. Love the pad satay and the massamun
Go in and come out smelling like you have been working in a kitchen.Ventilation is poor here.Food usually sells out fast for lunch packs and staff will ask you to wait but cant tell you what dishes are being further prepared to refill the lunch selection and also cant tell you for how long you have to wait. Nah,not going back for canteen food.
Really disappointing. Have been regular customer here. Ordered a vegetarian meal and once home discovered it had chicken it it. Mitcham Thai would not refund or replace the meal without us driving all the way back with the original meal. Staff were very unhelpful and rude. We will not be ordering from Mitcham Thai again!!
We’ve eaten here and bought take away about half a dozen times out of convenience. The food is not bad but the service is terrible. The man who stands at the counter and takes orders is abrupt, rude and standoffish. Can’t even muster up a smile. The first couple of times we let it go but last night when I ordered take away he was raising his voice at me over the phone asking what name to put the order under (even though I had already told him, he just wasn’t listening). I repeated myself then he made a rude sarcastic comment about putting in under any name I want. Is that really necessary? Needless to say I’m never eating or ordering from here again. Save yourself the trouble and eat at any of the other decent thai restaurants around the area.
Excellent place for lunch and takeaway. Would recommend the lunch boxes. Very delicious and value for money. Service was quick and always with a smile
Nice little Thai diner for great tasting and cheap eats! Had the veggie fried rice and cashew and sweet chilli stirfry veggies with spring rolls. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal! Spring rolls were interesting – filled with vermicelli and spinach – not your usual. The rice had a good mixture of flavours but could’ve had some mushroom to make it abit better. Overall was pleased with my meal and service was lovely!
Heads up if you order by WWW – prices like 10% more versus ordering in person over the counter, or probably by phone
