Went there last Friday night for so called sri lankan buffet, everything was cold, except the soup, which is I didn’t eat. I don’t think I can eat curry for now, put me off quite bad.

We didn’t have a good experience.
Natalie’s restaurant advertises of Sri Lankan Fusion on Friday nights. I called the restaurant on Monday 25 June to ask if the Sri Lankan Fusion was going to be on that Friday 29 June and the price. The staff member at the restaurant confirmed it is going ahead that Friday. So I organised a couple of our friends, made a booking and went there for the Sri Lankan Fusion. When we arrived, the staff mentioned that the restaurant was booked for a private function and Sri Lankan menu was not available. I was frustrated with the staff communication as I called the restaurant five days ago and I was given incorrect information. It was worse as I had organised others to come with me.
Hope the restaurant informs its staff of week’s schedule in the future or update the website when a routine event was not to occur due to pre planned events.

Really disappointed with their Christmas Day lunch . Absolute disgusting service , first we were told the moscato couldn’t be included in the package that was already pre paid & we came last year on Xmas day . The female worker said ‘ last year was last year, u have to pay’ . We asked to see the manager , they never came out . Our drinks arrived half way through our meals ( they should arrive before meals!) the plates were not cleared so when we got 2nd round of food we had to ask the waitress to clear the table . No finger bowls for the prawns which is kind of gross. And then there was the food; the roast beef was so tough we couldn’t eat it. The salads ran out. The ham was budget pre sliced crap. Frozen seafood. Cloudy oysters. And where were the green veggies ? there was none. And to top it off all the pre made desserts were half gone so we missed out, and what was there, well the puddings were dry with hardly no custard & the pavlovas were also dry, where was the cream & fruit? I work in the industry & have done for 20 years . I’ve also worked in a lot of kitchens so I know what is fresh & what isn’t . I am away from my family this year & all I thought the entire time was ‘my mums Xmas lunch is x10 what was put in front of me today . Safe to say we will not be back. Lift your game, train your staff the simple sequence of service steps & last but not least , say goodbye to your guests instead of counting your till not giving two hoots about the crap experience u just gave us!

Food was very very disappointing. Entree of baked potato skins was extremely dry. Main of lamb shank was flat in flavour, poorly cooked and just salty. Dessert was very mediocre. There were a lot of half eaten plates in the room!

Seriously, the menu is so old! Flavour in the food is lacking and the service is ordinary. Whilst I respect your target market, I am sure they don’t mind a bit of a change every now and again. How food like this still exists in Melbourne I have no clue. Please consider changing the menu followed…

$15 special meals. I recently ate at Natalies and ordered Rump Steak with Chips and Salad.
The steak was tender and superbly cooked.
The service was friendly and efficient.
We arrived early ( before 6pm) and enjoyed a glass of bubbles at a very good price.
Ready to go back for more; it was such a good experience I feel confident to invite my friends along.
