Having just experienced authentic Mexican food o/s I wasn’t expecting this restaurant to be up to the same standard. Service was friendly and efficient. It was a busy night with lots of happy group bookings. We ordered sangria to drink which was quite good. Our main meal was the seafood quesadilla. That’s when it went downhill. The flour tortilla was like a supermarket brand type. A small blob of sour cream and guacamole on top. It looked bland and tasted worse. The white sauce inside had the taste of flour not having been cooked out properly. There were plenty of scallops and fat prawns but the sauce really let it down. It lacked flavour and at $24 was a total waste of money. Sorry to be negative. The owner is a very nice friendly man. His offer of a free strawberry tequila shot to everyone was a nice touch.We won’t be back though.
