Service wasn’t rude, but a bit stand-offish. Prices are Surrey Hills style. I was perplexed at the massive communal table we were forced to choose (no guidance to a table – Macca’s style. Pick a spot that fits. Don’t ask staff for help, you won’t get any). Asparagus in my melt was either overcooked or tinned. Either way, it had the mineral flavour/taste. Ruined the dish. Also the cheese selection was salty – and I like salt.
The female baristas here are very friendly and the coffee is great! I’m a regular at this place and it is always busy, and many people rave about the menu. I’m keen to come here for lunch sometime soon!
Tried out a new spot for my morning almond milk latte. Being so close to Mont Albert station (literally a 30 second walk) its the perfect location for a pre-train coffee. The staff were friendly and very efficient and the coffee was very good! They also have a very tempting window full of cakes which I think I may have to indulge in next time…
