A really nice quaint wine bar in Montmerency. Good range of tap and bottled beers and of course a selection of wines. The wine list represents really decent wines from famous regions at reasonable prices.
A great little venue. Friendly and warm atmosphere. Some great music acts on Friday and Sunday nights and open ‘Open Mike’ night on Tuesday is good for laugh and the occasional suprise artist. Good variety of beers and wines. Not suitable or appropriate to take children and babies there Especially prams!
My only criticism is that’s it’s too small! Other than that it is lovely! The wines are good prices and delicious. The staff are friendly and on point. The atmosphere is great and the live acts are cool not being too loud to drown out conversations but adding good music and vibes.
Found this a cute place and asked for a recommendation of a red. With a few little questions answers ended up with a lovely Sangiovese Shiraz. Will be visiting again.
What a disappointment!. I was excited to hear that a wine bar had opened in a neighbouring suburb and we went to check it out. Upon the first visit before Christmas, I was impressed. Clean venue, interesting and well constructed wine list and hard to get beer on tap. Loved the wooden and glass wine wall actually built by one of the owners. Returned last Friday night with interstate friends and I was embarrassed! How did it go downhill so fast. Sloppy lazy staff, dirty, messy bar and empty glasses everywhere including the footpath. Sleazy, drunk , loud middle aged men holding up the bar – not our scene! I’m heading back to my local, which is always consistent and professional. Some places have it and some never will!
Great addition to Montmorency. A badly needed addition to Were street, this cute bar has a laid back vide and definitely isn’t pretentious. It also has a nice set up with the neighbouring burger place where you can order limited food and have it brought over. The service is a bit slow and disorganised, but forgivable given what a relaxed vibe the bar has about it.
