Late lunch on a Sunday. Cafe was pretty quiet. House burger was good, a bit under sauced. Felt like the only thing that made it juicy was the tomato, was otherwise dry. Chips were great & had lots of herbed seasoning. Triple Double was well balanced with pickles & nicely melted cheese. Yum! Hot Chocolate was just warm & wasn’t served with a marshmallow. If we come back again will probably try the Eddie the Eggplant burger. Looked like it had lots of nice flavours going on.
Went here for dinner on a Wednesday night, group of us had pizzas, burgers, Parma, chips and chicken bites…. everything was great!! Really tasty, well cooked, fresh ingredients, friendly down to earth staff & although it was a packed house they gave us plenty of warning that there would be a wait for the food! It was worth the wait though, great portions sizes & even better price!! Cant fault the entire experience! Can’t wait to go back!!!!!
Great little place tucked away in the burbs. Warm greeting followed by good prompt service. Wife and I shared the San Daniele prosciutto pizza which was well cooked, not too thin and not sloppy like other overrated pizzerias. Both had the chicken Parma which was a generous serve.
Daughter loved her burger and the brownie sundae. Keep up the good work guys. Highly recommend.
Honestly, Max’s is a fabulous little local. The pizzas are perfect, the service is warm and friendly and the wines are great. Book in advance – they are always busy!

Friendly staff, tasty chips and burger buns, apple crumble not that sweet and just my flavour.
Haven’t tried the wood fire pizza yet, but it looks nice and really crispy on edge and soft inside.
This burger joint has everything a burger joint needs, burgers, pizza, ice cream, desserts!
And usually when restraunts try too many things, their quality is lacking. But the burgers and desserts we tried were nice and tasty.
A great decor and setting inside, you really feel good entering this place.
Quick and friendly service. Definetly recommend to anyone who enjoys casual dining.
