We dined here with friends last night. We were given the perfect table, right by the roaring fire. The food was delicious and fresh. The moussaka, just as delicious as my Mum’s! This is the place to go for delicious home cooked Greek food! And the halva ice cream was the perfect ending to a delicious meal. Yum!
Laidback Sunday lunch. We obviously all packed extra stomachs as we seemed to order just about everything on the menu. Zucchini flowers, saganaki, sausage and capsicum, pickled octopus and fava pure all worthy of a Greek feast. The latter a particular standout. We followed up with baby goat, lamb moussaka, salads and lamb cutlets with walnuts – also delicious. I think dessert was the kicker. Somehow we squeezed that in too. Halva ice cream, baked figs, loukoumades and the stupendous ekmek kataifi – a traditional custard, cream, kataifi pastry noodle slice. Godlike.
