The crowds at this establishment are definitely not for the food, just drinks. Absolutely no service and took a good two hours before someone came to take our order. Food cold and rather tasteless. Definitely go elsewhere in Mordialloc, there are better places!
Went here last night (NYE) for a early family meal and was very disappointed. The food was over cooked and looked like something you would get at a cheap venue in the casino. They had a lady playing music which was horribly load and ruined the mood of the place. Won’t be rushing back
Not very good. The food is very ordinary and is like something you would get in a nursing home or hospital. Not cheap either. It doesn’t have good vibes, despite being in a good location. Obviously it stays in business because of the location but it is mainly financially kept afloat from the income from the poker machines. Won’t return.
I was very disappointed with the venue. I felt the food was overpriced for the serving that was served. Staff were quite rude.I seen this with another patron who left upset by something. I will never set foot again in that venue till its under new management. Went to another establishment up the road for a beer and it was so much better than HQ.so do yourself a favor and give other venues a go
Recently returned to Mordi Sporting Club to find new menu, new chef and great service. Highly recommend lamb rump steak, chicken pasta and chicken salad. Certainly worth a try – so much to offer in the one location. Good atmosphere, lovely staff and happy tummies!
New Menu! Went for dinner last week and the new menu was fantastic. Friendly service and a great night out. Looks like they are taking on the feedback and making some great changes. Will definitely be back with the family again. The kids loved the mac and cheese fritters. I would recommend the Lamb rump. Great work Mordy HQ.
The food is quite expensive for the portions given, while having a function, we waited for the rest to come. But when our food came it was really delayed and some got food while others were finished.
The photo uploaded was why I am writing this review. The service is bad. Some waiters are okay, others were arrogant. In particular, the head of the kitchen made a woman cry because she wanted a refund and ruin her night. In the end she got a free glass of wine but no one should be crying.
