Had Fathers’Day Special dinner after enjoying the covers band which was very good retro with small dance area.
Disappointed that dinner could not be in the open area but instead it was only in very small glass enclosed area.
Steak, chips and salad were our main courses but salad could be more interesting.
Sat there for 15 min. waiting for table service before we were told at 7.45pm that it was only bar service when tables had white cloths, not like downstairs in sports bar area where last week my partner had a billiard stick stuck out in front of his face whilst eating dinner!

Rooftop is hidden from street view but a great surprise. Open air tables and umbrellas in summer. Indoor eating and bar and function rooms.
Great NEW menu with variety at good prices. No one trying to reinvent steak here… They just cook it well. Fresh salads and vegetables and presented nicely for pub fare. Staff are divine and friendly and provide happy and courteous service. Gluten free options as well.
Live pub bands Friday and weekend adding to ambience. Weekdays numbers are varied but always a table. Well recommended.
People do smoke out on deck area but as a non smoker have never found an issue. Be nice to see that option removed in meal areas.
