This cafe is super popular with most people having to wait a bit before a table is available. Large breakfast menu (which is served til 3pm), and equally sized lunch and dinner choices. Portions are generous and the food comes out quite quickly even during busy periods
A mediocre experience for a place that was slated with a higher rating (4stars). Music was way too loud to talk inside, bright sun is in the face of people outside late afternoon. Mains were on the higher end of pricey and not really that good. Soba noodle salad was a mayonnaise mess that consists of small segments of soba noodles and occasional bits worth fishing out – not worth the 21 dollars. The special soft crab salad was nice but bland after the 15th bite and felt more like a chore than a treat. Probably the only restaurant worth going to in the area but would avoid if possible.
Had a really good time catching up with work colleagues here, the service was great and topped off with great food. The long black was on point and the avocado smash with smoked salmon was a winner.
