If you don’t mind paying more for a pizza you get some good quality pizza. Is it worth the money? Not so sure as the pizzas are quite small, even the large.
Not sure the experience or training these workers have considering I had to stop the older man from putting olive oil on my pizza instead of balsamic vinegar.
On top of this his attitude when I had to point out he was about to put aioli on our pizza when ordered without.
And the last straw having to ask where the fresh basil on my bruschetta pizza was only to be told they do not have any.
No apology, good luck I am sure we will see another business open here shortly
Pathetic! Pizza had next to nothing on top, pasta was disgusting. You’d be better off with a frozen pizza or microwave dinner. It’s run by kids who have no manners whatsoever. Waste of money!
I felt compelled to write a review about my local Crust Gourmet Pizza joint after I had some friends over and we opted to be completely slack and order home delivered pizza. It is relatively easy to get on line and put in your orders – the first few times we did this it was a little confusing and not as intuitive as it could be but now with experience it is all good. I love the fact that you can add or subtract ingredients, do half and half (although frustratingly not with all the pizzas) and I love you pay on line so you don’t need to have cash at home. Even better I love that it is usually delivered within 30 – 40 minutes hot to the front door!!Now like most pizza joints when they are really busy it can take longer and it can be not as hot as you would like but hey you are at home – pop it in the oven have another beer and then get it out hot.I remember the very first Crust I ordered when the chain first opened in Mornington – it was way too sweet for my taste and I really wasn’t going to get them again. Maybe I have now found the right combo for me or maybe they have backed off on the sugar in the sauces but they seems to be just right now – my wife agrees with this also. The flavours are great, the pizzas are balanced, they are clean and the toppings are of good quality and fresh. As usual with any pizza sometimes it depends on who is making them and on occasion we will get our usual for them to be not quite as good as last time and on other occasions they seem to be the best yet!Anyway the reason I decided to review Crust Mornington is because when we had my daughter her boyfriend over and we lazily ordered Crust as we were eating they both commented that the Crust here was always so much better than the Crust they get from their local Crust. This surprised me as I thought they would be the same everywhere…but it seems not.In short I am extremely happy with the quality and service from Crust Pizza Mornington and I am happy to pay the extra dollars for the extra quality they provide!
Terrible service, really poor at delivering on time. Ordered at the counter, got told be ready in 10-15 mins. 1 HOUR later, pizza is ready. Others saying they’ve ordered over the phone and they arrive 10-15 mins later, their pizzas haven’t been made yet. First and last time I’ll come here, absolute JOKE!
Crust Balaclavia is amazing though!
Been waiting a hour and a half as usual may as well go to Pizza Hut as it is cheaper and faster but they do have good pizza but not worth the wait
