Not sure why the reviews were so mixed. The food we had at Dr. Fox was so good, and more sophisticated than youd expect from a cafe. I had the pork and pistachio terrine, which was absolutely tasty. Service was stellar as well. The interior and seats are very cute. Would highly recommend.

Dr Fox is my favourite place to eat and drink on the peninsula. We usually head down for an afternoon snack and a drink. Strongly recommend the iced Mocha and wedges. Service always brilliant and the whole business remains consistent. We love it!

Had the vege breakfast. Nice avocado but sadly that’s where it ended. The rest tasted like it was cooked in bad oil. Cheap unripe tomatoes fried in the middle of summer when tomatoes are at their best. Horrible spinach – how do u ruin spinich? Fried pumpkin- again horrible. And really bad tasting mushrooms.
I could’ve made better at home in five mins.

The food here was quite good and the coffee was flawless. Cant say the same about the cleanliness now the staff. The floor was full of food and dead flies everywhere. When we went to pay we had been charge $16 for a $6 toastie. When we brought this up with them the owner laughed and said that there was a secret surcharge for adults (it was a kids toastie). We were quite taken aback by this as he thought it was funny to more than double the price without telling us. We asked for our money back for it and he gave us $4 back and said go on then, **** ***. This is no way to treat paying customers and it is always quite pathetic and immature. We will be recommending our friends not to go there and the owner/manager or whoever he is needs to get out of hospitality. Disgraceful!!!!

Easily the best restaurant/cafe on Mornington main street! I’ve been over 30 times for brunch and lunch and never have I been disappointed. No particular dish to recommend cause it’s all so good! They are also open some afternoons/evenings and do some amazing cocktails (the hare affair and tall blonde fox being my faves). Menu changes frequently, keeping it interesting!

Great little place, nice outside sitting watching Main
street go by. Also nice inside area, undercover also. Great coffee, and the staff are always super friendly. Look after the staff cause they are a massive asset to your business.
Havnt eaten here since this set of owners, but the food looks amazing.
