Interesting venue, warm and comfortable, food was lacklustre and under seasoned. We had the eye fillet and it looked better than it tasted. The restaurant was empty but the waitress wasnt overly friendly so we wouldnt go back in a rush.
Stumbled upon Gods Kitchen and we loved it. Good service, good food, good value and good vibe – live music was a treat. We will be back. 🙂
Even the bottled wine wasnt over-priced – which is becoming a rarity.
Both my beef cheek & my wifes duck confit were superb…….tasty, sizable, and sumptuous.
Tick tick tick…..
8pm on a cold and windy Sunday night we enjoyed the most tender, perfectly cooked and delicious steaks. The mash and greens were perfect and it was by far the best red wine jus ever. Lovely friendly staff too.
