we went with friends last week despite the bad wrap. unfortunatly have to say was the worst indian food i have ever eaten. definatly nothing fresh in this place. could also do with a major face lift ,i felt like i was eating at a train station.

1 Star Restaurant. Unsure if I had high expectations from everyone raving about it, I didn’t enjoy my meal here as much, the quality of the food was poor and service was subpar and a few dishes were overly salty, including the Butter Chicken, Vindaloo and Mumtaz Chicken, when we commented upon the dishes we did get a really obnoxious interrupting and were told off, it was insinuated that we just did not know any better, a real disappointment. The establishment is most overrated, there are plenty of other high end yet affordable restaurants in the main street making Mornington Masala seem a little less special.

Excellent Value. Decided to give these a go despite some poor reviews. The curries were excellent, best butter chicken I’ve ever tasted and the vindaloo was perfect. Pretty impressed with the vegetarian options too. Would definately recommend them.

Great service and food!!. Loved the food! Went to order takeaway and didn’t realize it was a 25 minute drive from where we were staying. Turned up half an hour later than expected, and were able to eat the food take in at the restaurant. The staff were very accommodating to our dietary needs, all the food was amazing! I loved the eggplant dish myself! Nothing was too much trouble and let us hang around to finish our drinks half an hour after they closed. Highly recommend 🙂

Fantastic! We dine in and have gotten take away before and the food is awesome. When we dine in the service was fast and just terrific food at a very affordable price strongly recommended

Try it for taste. I was surprised to see a nasty review about this nice little restaurant. I’ve eaten there quite regularly and never had a bad experience. Its comfortable, the service is friendly and the food is sure worth coming back for.You don’t have to love Indian food to love what they serve. Another reason I like the place is its variety. Every time I go I can order something new!
