Food ok, don’t expect to get what you order and double the wait time. This restaurant has been around for a long time and the interior would agree, long overdue a renovation or at least an update. Enter the twlight zone for a trip back into the 70’s!
Having said that the food is tasty but the usual Chinese fare at a reasonable price, but here’s the catch, you may not get what you order! Out of 4 visits in the past 2-3 months here’s how we went.
First time, ordered lemon chicken and some other dishes, arrived home, no lemon sauce, rang restaurant who told us to come back down (15 min return trip) and collect or they would give us 10% off next lemon chicken we order (but couldn’t replace it free of charge). Left message for owner to call me back, never did
Second time ordered a Peking steak and other dishes, got a Mongolian steak instead, Staff member said she could do nothing about it, stuff happens!
Third time ordered a Peking steak and guess what Mongolian steak again even though it states Peking steak on the order docket. Rang to speak to owner, staff member who took call wanted to know what it was about and when I told her she would not get him, told me it was busy and to be thankful I got something, when I said that it wasn’t the first time and I was not happy she started saying I was being rude and she didn’t appreciate the tone I was talking in. Then she started telling me how rude I was being for insisting to talk to the manager.
Staff will not right errors that are made as it might cost them money to fix, we’ll they’ve lost my money in future.
Also in regards to timing, double anything they say time wise, 20 mins equals 40 mins. 30 mins equals 1 hour.
Will now go to Bambu Bridge, Restaurant Soy or Wok on Bay instead.
Nice food. Fresh, tasty and authentic, nice chicken and veggies and fried rice is the bomb. highly recommended!
RIDICULOUS!!!! will never go back. haven’t even eaten the food yet but I know I will never be going back there. told it would be a 20 minute wait. an hour later we get our food with no explanation or apology. I don’t care how good the food may be I will not be returning.

Food is well priced…service on a (quiet) Saturday night was extremely slow (over an hour between entree and main) but the wait was worth it! Food was delicious and will definitely be going back!!
Completely agree – delivery time pathetic. Ladies on phone so understanding but restricted by kitchen politics. They came and took away our cold food but wouldn’t even entertain a refund as we’d served the food – yes they took away what was left!
