Soulful Vegan Food is a new cafe that has recently opened in Mornington. The cafe changes their menu every week so customers always get to try something new and the menu will never become boring.
Today my mum and I tried the Donut Pass This Up and the Thaied Down. The Donut Pass This Up is a Donut with raspberry coulis, lemon curd and a pistachio crumb. A nice sweet option that tasted healthier than the usual donut. It was very fresh. The lemon curd reminded me of banana for some reason (so I told my mum it was banana when actually it wasnt, oops!) and the curd went very well with the donut and all the other toppings.
The Thaied Down is a green Thai curry with coconut and lemongrass sesame rice with spiced carrot pure and fresh spinach. I loved the curry! Was actually a bit spicy! I wish there had been more curry and less spinach.
My mum and I both liked Soulful Vegan Food and we will definitely visit again sometime!

To my surprise the store messaged back almost instantly with a response.
So we headed off to Mornington for brunch. The store is very cute small in size but very bright and clean. There is seating indoors and out.
I selected the pancakes and oh boy was that an amazing decision.
Large serving, with a beautiful lemon berry flavour. Menu does change weekly I’ve been told by cashier, which is great as it keeps things interesting.
Coffee was nice not to strong.
I purchased a vegan peanut butter chocolate muffin to take away, you wouldn’t even know it was vegan so moist and rich in flavour.

The presentation of food is on another level so well put together. Recommended if passing through the area. The staff there are really nice too.
