  We decided to bring a friend here after having a really good experience previously. The food is tasty and well presented and we werent disappointed with the food this time either. The only thing that lets this establishment down is the service.

  Our waitress was generally attentive and helpful but when our starter arrived but we werent offered cutlery. We had to ask. Another waitress came to our table with the mains immediately after wed been served our starter. She plonked them on the table. No explanation and started to walk off. Of course we asked that the mains be removed until after wed eaten our starter.

  When the mains were served, they came separately with intervals between and were luke warm. We had to ask for the empty plates from the starter to be removed.

  All in all, although the food is excellent, the service was not.

  I was under the impression Soy was a Classy restaurant, one that you would go to on a date (eg. Valentines Day)
  When walking in with my husband, its quiet clear this was not the case. Its a restaurant yes, but Classless a more fitting way to describe it.

  Their black tables were completely covered with circular cup marks (they needed a great aunt there to sternly remind them to use a coaster)
  The lighting was all wrong, the decor looked cheap and mismatched.
  Ahhh it was just a mess!

  That being said, the food was clean and tasty. Tho the Duck in the Peking Duck wraps was cut far too thick, It was like biting into a whole Roasted Duck like a Caveman.

  Theres really no place in my life for this establishment. If I want a nice Restaurant, I wont come here, if I want Roast Duck, Ill go to Springvale.

  Really disappointing experience, especially considering the prices. Not authentic. Packet noodles – this is 2018. Dumplings were the highlight.
