I love this place but every time we come here and its 1/2 hour before they close, they have all the chairs packed up and tables stacked. I find it quite rude. Today we came at 2:30 and the put all the tables across the counter so you couldnt order. If you are open until 3pm you should be able to order and sit outside at 2:30!!!!
I went there today and ordered a coffee and cake and was given a table number. The waitress came to the table with my coffee in a takeaway cup and my cake on a plate and said they thought it was takeaway. Erm. The cake was on a plate! The coffee was in takeaway cup! When I remarked that I was given a table number she just walked off. No offer to put the coffee in a cup. Banana cake was ‘ok’.
Used to be nice, but since they’ve moved service and food have gone waaayyyy downhill. Menu is significantly smaller, very few vegetarian options, but my main issue is the service. Went for lunch today and was seated with no issues, then waited 20 minutes to be served while the staff served others who were seated well after my group. Second time I’ve had this issue, seems to be no communication between the waitstaff. Won’t bother going back.
Love this cafe, staff always make us feel welcome and since its relocation service has gotten much better. I think most of the staff know we are there when an order of a decaf caramel latte, baby-chino and a smiley face comes in.

The coffee was great, very well made; the cronut was amazing, and the staff members were friendly.
But I was out on lunch and was kinda in the mood for something like a chicken wrap or something, which wasn’t there, or anything like that.

Nice cafe with friendly and attentive staff. Great variety of slices and cakes to go with my coffee and there’s also much more on the menu if you’re in need of a meal. Not what you’d necessarily expect in the middle of an outdoor shopping complex, though a very welcome and pleasant surprise to break up the shopping experience. Coffee was served a little too hot for my liking, but very nice nonetheless.
