Apart from the vanilla slice， which was below par，everything else we had here was ok but not amazing. Service was also a bit disinterested，but still ok.
The questions I ask is why was it so expensive? $26.40 for 2 coffee’s, 1 Focaccia, 1 biscuit & 1 donut. Why did we have to get our order from the counter when there were more staff then customers? Why was the cafe dirty when, once a again there were so many staff members standing around? Why did my biscuit taste like it had been sitting in the biscuit jar for months? The coffee was good, as it should be but then again it’s harder to make a good coffee then it is to stuff it up. Finally, something needs to be done with the Focaccia, it was pretty bland & not exciting at all, for the price, you would expect something yummy. I know I sound so negative but I like to be honest, the young woman that served us was lovely.
The coffee here is so good, best I’ve had for a while. But the prices are ridiculously high. I understand that it’s a small town but $5.7 for a cappuccino? Woah! If the coffee was crap or even half decent I would be seriously pissed off. Only go here if it’s an absolute necessity.
Came here for a late lunch at 3pm and despite the place being almost deserted and three staff on duty, service was terrible. Indifference was seen on the staff’s faces and tables were left uncleared. We decided to stay and eat in but once ordered, they left our toasted sandwiches on the counter and we had to go ask if they were ours after more than 10 minutes of waiting. Water we had to help ourselves to as there was no service whatsoever. Overpriced drinks eg. $4.60 for bottled sparkling. Don’t know why they are open if they don’t want to serve customers. Best to give this place a miss.
