Colleagues and I went here for lunch. Most of us had very fresh parmas with a light passers and crispy chips. The atmosphere is bustling and vibrant. The setting is rustic with a traditional Italian bent. I looked at the cakes but decided against indulging. Next time. The service was polite and quick and being able to watch the kitchen is always fun.

Third time we’ve been here. Great food, but the service was horrendous.
    The wrong drinks came.
We waited just over 50 minutes for a breakfast.
Food was very well presented and great flavours.
Would like to add my girlfriend went here today Dec 28th. Tried to order breakfast and said they couldn’t order breakfast as they were too busy. Ordered hot drinks and banana bread and the banana bread was stale. Asked to speak to the manager twice and the girl would not get us the manager. WOULD NEVER RETURN. My advice would be AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Great atmosphere and outfitting. I have been here several times for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Beautiful on summers day to sit outside and enjoy a cone of their scrumptious sorbet. Yet, equally welcoming and cosy during the chilly winter months. The service is friendly and polite, however could be a little more attentive to the customers. The menu is diverse and includes a range of healthy options. The coffee is always beautiful, however I usually ask for it to be made extra hot as I have been served only luke warm coffee on several occasions. The servings of food are insanely big! I suggest that they lessen their servings, however I guess you get great value for the price. The ‘seriously rich’ Italian hot chocolate is just that… SERIOUSLY RICH. Last time ordered it in a mug, but I do not recommend doing that unless it’s the only thing you order or you haven’t eaten all day. It is so sweet and intense! Overall, Apple Espresso is wonderful; afavourite place of mine to visit and will definitely be back again…and again!

Disappointing. I really want to like this place because it’s really cool and the staff are helpful and apologetic, but on two occasions the food has been quite disapppointing to say the least. I have previously ordered an eggplant lasagne which was heavily salting making me think that they had forgotten to wash off the salt when preparing the eggplant and a quinoa salad that had absolutely no flavour and was a very small portion for $16. A friend also ordered the vegetable frittata which had to be sent back as it was overly hard, because it had been way overcooked. The cafe has a nice feel but be wary to order anything that requires much kitchen coordination.

Disappointing for breakfast. We were very disappointed with the breakfasts at Tully’s. The scrambled eggs were GREY and gooey! I couldn’t bring myself to eat them. I’d guess they were cooked on a dirty hotplate/skillet. On both dishes the bacon was dry and not very good quality. My husbands poached eggs looked ok as did the toast however you couldn’t spread the butter on as it was rock hard from the fridge. I complained about the eggs and they did offer to re do them however my husband had nearly finished his so I would have been eating by myself. They didn’t offer a refund or discount with was very disappointing. There was also a long wait for the food to be served. We should have driven a bit further to Mornington. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Amazing wont want to miss it!!. Hi all! If you’re looking for a cozy cafe to Nestle into and feel at home, this is the place on the Peninsula you won’t want to miss! I eat here often (usually book a table for my partner and i as at times they can be quite booked up) the food, the wine, coffee and of course the lovely staff will always bring me back. For lunch i had the Caprese Wrap (flat bread) and boy oh boy was it something for the tastebuds! It was lightly toasted and oozed with flavour! My partner ordered the Pizza (not sure of the name, just a special of the day type thing usually they have a pasta one as well) and it was massive! luckily the staff were nice enough to offer us take home containers as we weren’t letting this go to waste! Coffee was great done by a bearded italian man (didn’t speak much english but very modest and vibrant) We even ordered some of the Chefs homemade apple pies to go ( i know! more) but we didn’t care about the calories as this was one of the most delicious desserts i’ve had in years! Could just tell that it was fresh and homemade! The staff (all girls today) were very very friendly as always! Smiling and giggling puts a great vibe into the cafe to have such young workers! They were very helpful and checked up when necessary! love it 10/10

Not child friendly. I took …. Not child friendly.
I took my 2 daughters to this restaurant on Sunday morning for a special treat, my 2 girls (4y.o twins) really wanted rainbow Icecream with their crepes for breakfast I asked the staff at the counter (no table service 🙁 ) if they could have the vanilla ice cream on the crepes substituted for rainbow that we could see in the Icecream display. After the staff member referring to the manager for advice I was told absolutely No changes to the menu! O.k . so disappointed I asked for an additional serve of rainbow Icecream (paid for) so that I could swap it over myself. The rainbow Icecream then came straight out with drinks 20 mins before the crepes. I asked for them to hold on to the ice cream until our food came. Our food finally arrived without any ice cream not vanilla or rainbow. Disappointed again I requested that the Icecream accompany the food as per our order and the menu.
My daughter at this time need to go to the toilet – on my own I had to take both daughters as I couldn’t leave one on her own. When I came back all three meals had gone and our table cleared.
More than disappointed I won’t be going back what a let down.
