I like to come here get a takeaway coffee and pie and enjoy it at home.
Each time though, I get very frustrated. The staff are very slow and only one lady and the owner is nice to me the rest of the staff are typical mount Eliza women. They prefer their regulars, whom they chat to regardless of customers waiting.
I wouldn’t recommend table service, your order will just be dumped and you might lose half your coffee.
The owner though, is a shining star he is always more than pleasant and the coffee he make is much better than the rest.
Great coffee and nice cakes. Unfortunately a young blonde waitress is so incredibly rude and dismissive, it ruins the experience. Next time you spill my coffee all over the saucer whilst you so roughly set it down, at least apologise not just walk off in silence. Having someone working there with such a negative attitude and never smiling is a put off no matter how nice your products are. Another tip, when taking someone’s order you could smile and greet them not just stand behind the counter with a face like a ducks ass and not even say hi. Seriously so rude. Won’t be going back again.
