good job well done i dont know what’s wrong with comments i really like that devilled chicken and parantha.service is also good very peacefull place .
We wanted to visit this restaurant from pretty long time, finally there was an opportunity last night. We drove there, finding this restaurant was easy as it was in an wide ally, well lit. There were ample parking available all around, so that checks off one major point in the list. The lady welcomed us with a great smile. There was enough room for seating and to mention, comfortable seating. as it was a weekday I understand they were understaffed, the ratio was 2 : 15.
Ambiance was good, good menu and light music playing in background. We were quick to order and there was a bit of delay in service. We ordered roti and a veg curry. The portions were medium, rotis should have been soft. It was very chewy. We also ordered hydrabadi biryani. It lacked most ingredients, not worth for that enormously priced menu. Need to improve a lot on food quality.
The best part of the whole experience was that we made acquaintance with the the grocery shop next door.
This place was great, back when it was called Mirch Masala, but I think it has been recently sold. The menu has not changed but the quality of food is not what it used to be which is really disappointing as it was my go to Indian place. They have a great range of dishes which is nice but I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore.
Came out to eat indian food after a long time with my family. Very disappointed with the food and service. We ordered sheekh kebab, paneer tikka, naan and mutter mushroom. The meat was smelly, the mutter and naan were not fully cooked and the paneer hadn’t been marinated long enough. On top of that, the service was very slow and poor and the staff weren’t friendly. The prices were high and the amount served per dish was very less.
Would not recommend to anyone.
Immaculate food! By far my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne. The service and food is just amazing and very yummy indeed. It won’t disappoint
Beautiful food
I’ve eaten at plenty of Indian restaurants and this is by far, without exaggeration, the best
The naan is soft, buttery, garlicky, then crispy in the right places
The entrees, even the friend ones, are not greasy but fresh and well balanced
Every curry is clearly differentiated by flavour, colour, texture and sauce – and they’re delicious
It’s BYO and you get service with a smile. We’ll be back again and again
I always order take away here and our favourite is the Lamb Korma and the Beef Curry. The original naan is also nice and fluffy. I don’t know what’s with the reviews, I’ve eaten here at the restaurant when it was initially Mirch Masala as well and the service and food was always good. It is a tad on the expensive side compared to other Indian restaurants but food is always yummy.
