Best fish and chips ever! Came here for lunch and got the family pack. Chips were crispy and fresh and not oily.
Flakes were fresh and not heavily covered in batter!
Staff are friendly and helpful when you can’t decide!

Best potato cakes I’ve had in ages! Took me back to my childhood! Traditional, old school fish and chips! Keep up the good work! Real good coffee to. Bonus!! Will definitely be back next time I’m the area. Hopefully soon! Mmmm potato cakes 🙂
Archie’s, you used to be our regular until you gave us both food poisoning, with projectile vomiting and stomach cramps. Not happy. We certainly won’t be going back.
I seriously don’t know how this place got such a high rating… customer service was not great. Asked to swap out the flake due to food allergies and the girl refused and wouldn’t even speak to the owner that was standing maybe 2m away. Fish was bland and the seafood was not fresh tasting. Chips were blah and a small was $4 but actually came out like a half serve, the box was barely half filled! And $10 for a steak sandwich that consisted of horrible cheap bread, a dot of sauce and the most meager and pitiful excuse of a steak… seriously… for the price we paid and the ratings I expected great food and all I get was a bland disappointed taste in my mouth. No 10/10, do not recommend!!
Had the fisherman basket consisting of a flake, prawn, scallop squids plus chips and a tub of tartare sauce. Not bad, the seafoods were fresh. And the portions were generous. I would definitely stop in more often in the future to try out their burgers since I stay close by.
Good local fish and chippery. Fish is always fresh and the que waiting to take food away is always long. Be prepared to wait in the late evenings and opt for the Fisher Man’s basket.
Can’t believe I’ve just discovered this place even though I have lived in the area my whole life! Fast and fresh fish and chips!! The chips are always crunchy perfectly seasoned. I particularly like the burgers. So glad I found this place 🙂
